Virat Kohli and co. will be travelling to the West Indies for a series comprising three T20 Internationals, three ODIs and two Tests in the month of August. The Tests will incidentally also kick-off the inaugural ICC World Test Championship for the Indian cricket team.

The first Test is scheduled to be played at Antigua’s Sir Vivian Richards Stadium from the 22nd-26th of August while Sabina Park in Jamaica will host the second Test scheduled to start on the 30th of August.

Those games though would be preceded by three T20s out of which two would be hosted in Florida, United States as well as three ODI games set to be played on August 8th, 11th and 14th respectively.

"The West Indies and India have a long and colourful rivalry, and the MyTeam11 Series will bring more thrilling competition across every format of the game," said Cricket West Indies Chief Executive Officer Johnny Grave. "We'll be seeing some of the World's best players go head to head in T20Is, ODIs and then in the new World Test Championship. West Indies fans, young and old, will have the opportunity to see some incredible cricket."

West Indies won their previous home Test series against England 2-1 while India defeated Australia away from home the last time they played red ball cricket.
