Kabaddi at Khelo India University Games 2021 will start on April 29 and conclude on May 3.ย
The second edition of Khelo India University Games (KIUG) will be hosted in Bengaluru after the event was postponed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amritsarโs Guru Nanak Dev University are the defending champions of the menโs Kabaddi event, having defeated Kurukshetra University of Haryana 33-31 in the final in the inaugural edition of Khelo India University Games in 2020.
On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh University will look to defend their womenโs title, having beaten Maharshi Dayanand University 32-19 in the final in the previous edition.
The upcoming edition of (KIUG) will witness eight teams fight for the gold medal in the menโs and womenโs kabaddi events respectively.
