Liverpool host Villarreal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 semi-finals at Anfield in the early hours of Thursday, April 28. The match will start at 12:30 AM IST (Indian Standard Time).

Jurgen Klopp luckily has no players suspended for the first leg of the UCL semi-final fixture. However, the only injury concern at hand is Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino. The 30-year-old, who can operate as a striker or an attacking midfielder, sat out the Merseyside derby with a foot injury. Although as things stand, Firmino could yet be involved on Wednesday.

Villarreal, on the other hand, have a major worry of their own. Spanish striker Gerard Moreno picked up a major hamstring strain in a 2-1 win over Getafe on April 17 and is set to be out of action till May.
