With the games in the English Premier League coming thick and fast, the last few weeks have been a brain-wreck for the punters, who have been juggling both team form and player fatigue to pick the favourites.

Premier League’s latest matchweek, starting from Wednesday, January 20 (per IST), will see all four top teams – Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea – taking the field yet again.

Here are the numbers that will help you pick better in their games.

Leicester City vs Chelsea

Chelsea sit seventh on the Premier League table with 29 points after 18 matches. If their current form wasn’t an issue, Frank Lampard will take his men to the King Power Stadium on Wednesday to face an in-form Leicester City side – who sit third in the points table.

While the Blues have a significant lead in Leicester City vs Chelsea head-to-head and have won two of their last four matches at the King Power Stadium, their current form will be a huge hindrance. While the Foxes remain unbeaten in their five clashes, winning three of them, Chelsea have lost twice and drawn once.

Quite interestingly though, this fixture can be the one when Chelsea find their lost form given how prolific they have been against the Foxes in EPL. The Blues have scored 50 goals in 28 matches against Leicester and have kept nine clean sheets.

Fulham vs Manchester United

Premier League leaders Manchester United will expect to have a field day at Craven Cottage after a tough fixture against defending champions, Liverpool. The Red Devils have been dominant against Fulham so far, winning 20 of their 28 matches and drawing five times.

Manchester United have scored a whopping 65 goals against Fulham in 28 games, conceding 26 times and keeping 11 clean sheets.

To further help their brilliant head-to-head record, Fulham have failed to win any of their last five matches against United at home, four of which have ended in a loss. United, on the other hand, have remained unbeaten.

Picking a favourite in this fixture will be a no-brainer.

Manchester City vs Aston Villa

The Manchester City vs Aston Villa could be the most interesting fixture of the matchweek, given the contrast between their history and current season's form.

While City sit two points adrift of rivals United in the points table, Aston Villa have built a reputation of being the giant-killers this season and sit 11th after playing three fewer matches.

Though City lead the 40-match head-to-head 24-7 and sit eight places above Villa in the table, they have scored the identical numbers of goals as Villa (29) and have conceded just three goals less with their star-studded side.

However, an Etihad fixture has been nightmarish for Villa in recent times.

Liverpool vs Burnley

Liverpool host Burnley at a time when talks are already ripe that the defending champions have lost their edge this season, drawing thrice and losing once in their last five outings.

However, Jurgen Klopp's men couldn't have faced Burnley in a more opportune moment. Burnley sit 17th in the points table losing thrice in their last five matches and a trip to Anfield has always been arduous for the Clarets.

With the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are hungry for goals, Liverpool's Premier League record against Burnley is an indication of things to come. In the 12 times they have clashed in PL, Liverpool have scored 27 times and have kept five clean sheets.
