Delhi beat Rajasthan by 33 runs in match 36 of Indian T20 League 2021 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Electing to field first, Delhi managed to score 154/6 in their 20 overs on a wicket where scoring runs looked difficult. Shreyas Iyer stood out for Delhi with the bat scoring 43 off 32 balls, ably supported by handy contributions from Pant and Hetmyer in the end.

In reply, Rajasthan were off to the worst possible start losing three wickets inside the Powerplay without a single boundary. Rajasthan never really recovered from the setback despite Sanju Samson's unbeaten 70 off 52 balls as the captain ran out of partners at the other end.

With the win, Delhi have now leapfrogged Chennai to move at the top of the standings.
