Delhi aim to break Mumbai’s winning streak in Indian T20 League – watch live

It will be a repeat of the Indian T20 League 2020 final when Delhi take on Mumbai on Tuesday, April 20, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Both the teams have won twice in their opening three matches of the season.

After losing a thriller against Rajasthan, the Rishabh Pant-led Delhi side bounced back to winning ways on Sunday when they comfortably chased down 196 runs in 18.2 overs against Punjab.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan has been in tremendous form for Delhi so far, as the southpaw’s innings of 92 runs in just 49 balls was quintessential in Delhi’s successful run-chase. With that knock, Dhawan has now leapfrogged Bangalore captain Virat Kohli in the list of most fifty-plus scores in the Indian T20 League.

Mumbai, on the other hand, have evidently decrypted the Chepauk pitch given their perfect team selection and consecutive wins at the venue of late. From Jasprit Bumrah to Kieron Pollard, Mumbai have ridden on team performance in the tournament so far.

Delhi’s batting-heavy side could be taken aback with the slow and turning track in Chennai that Mumbai is now well-acquainted to. However, the presence of local lad Ravichandran Ashwin will be a huge weapon for Delhi going into this fixture. Watch Delhi vs Mumbai live!

Delhi and Mumbai have clashed 28 times in the Indian T20 League so far, with Delhi winning 12 times and Mumbai 16 times. However, what will bother Delhi is Mumbai's four consecutive wins against them in the last four matches.
