India’s Rohit Sharma with 17 wins tops the charts for most wins as T20I captain at home. The Mumbaikar has captained the Indian team in 18 matches at home and has lost just one match so far. It was under his leadership that India registered their biggest win in T20 cricket at home (93 runs) against Sri Lanka in 2017.

Eoin Morgan of England with 15 wins from 25 matches is second on the list. The southpaw has a stellar win percentage of 60 while leading the English side at home. Appointed as the captain of England’s limited-overs side in 2015, Morgan is amongst the longest-serving captains in international cricket.

Next on the list is New Zealand’s Kane Williamson. Since being appointed as the captain of the side in 2016, Williamson has led Kiwis to 15 wins from 30 matches at home in T20 internationals.

Australia’s white-ball captain Aaron Finch and former India captain Virat Kohli occupy the fourth and fifth positions respectively with 13 wins each.

Amongst the associate nations, Romanian skipper Ramesh Satheesan features in the top ten list with 10 wins from 12 matches at home in T20Is. Interestingly, Romania’s 173-run win over Turkey which is the fourth biggest margin of victory in T20 internationals came under the captaincy of Satheesan in 2019.
