Rohit Sharma tops charts for highest run-getters in T20 internationals

Indian captain Rohit Sharma with 3,313 runs in 125 matches holds the record for scoring the most number of runs in T20 internationals. Rohit has scored four T20I hundreds in the shortest format, the most by any player. 

Closely following Rohit is New Zealand opener Martin Guptill with 3,299 runs. The Kiwi player has smashed 20 half-centuries and has hit 165 sixes - the most by any player in the T20 internationals. 

Third on the list is former Indian captain Virat Kohli with 3,296 runs in 97 T20Is. Kohli's batting average of 51.49 is the best in the format. 

Ireland's Paul Stirling is at the fourth spot with 2,776 runs across 102 T20 internationals. 

Australian captain Aaron Finch is ranked fifth amongst players with the most runs in T20Is with 2,686 runs in 88 matches. He led Australia to their maiden T20I World Cup last year and is the leading run-scorer for the Aussies in the format. Finch also holds the record for the highest score in T20Is (172), which he made against Zimbabwe in 2018.
