PSL 2025: Curtis Campher joins Multan Sultans after Motie exit

Multan Sultans have signed Irish all-rounder Curtis Campher to replace the star spinner Gudakesh Motie in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025. The franchise confirmed their squad change through a post on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Motie had to leave the league midway due to personal matters in Guyana. His departure means the squad needed a quick cover after they lost Johnson Charles earlier in the league as well.
Campher brings a valuable T20 background to Multan Sultans. He is best known for his batting and bowling skills in international cricket with Ireland. The 26-year-old is also known for scoring 924 runs and taking 31 wickets in T20Is.Â
Currently, Multan Sultans are sitting dead last in the PSL table, losing three of their four matches, as of writing. Campher’s addition can be a way to boost the team’s all-round strength. His presence may also offer balance and depth to the squad.
