
Just when Australia were inching closer to win the third Test match and retain the Ashes, Ben Stokes, whose heroics in the ICC Cricket World Cup final 2019 helped the host lifted the trophy for the first time, stood with Jack Leach for the last wicket to add 76 runs and level the series 1-1 after three matches.
Jack Leach, who contributed 1 off 17 balls was seen wiping his spectacles in the middle before facing balls bowled at him.

Specsavers, who are official sponsors of the Ashes, were asked by English all-rounder Ben stokes to give Jack Leach ‘free glasses for life’ and the British company replied and confirmed to offer Leach free glasses.

Stokes played one of his finest innings to clinch a win that almost looked impossible after England were reduced to 286 for nine, 73 runs away from the target. He was seen smashing Aussie bowlers all over the park during his astonishing knock of 135 not out. He was supported by Leach at the right time which lead England to a one-wicket win.

Leach was earlier seen scoring 92 runs against Ireland in a one-off Test when he came in as a night watchman.
England will play Australia in the Fourth Test of the Ashes starting from September 4 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
